Policies of the company Chaska Travel Peru.

CHASKA TRAVEL PERU reserves the right to make changes in the order of travel (in coordination with passengers), due to weather conditions, arrival time, departure of planes, buses or any other relevant circumstance, for a better organization in the tours, (the company does not compensate for the aforementioned modifications).

Some excursions could suffer variations during festive dates (Christmas, New Year, national holidays of Peru, Holy Week, Cusco holidays and others).

Rates are expressed in US dollars and per person. Likewise, prices are subject to variation (only in case of price increase of service providers). Prices will be reconfirmed at the time of making reservations. Rates valid for the year 2018.

Reservations:

Reservations are made by email to: info@chaskatravelperu.com It is important to make reservations in advance. The reservation must contain the following information.

Name of the passenger or group.

Passenger email.

Name of the hotel.

Type of program requested.

Other additional services

To confirm the reservation, you must make a pre – payment of 50% of the total cost of the program or tour. If this is not confirmed, the reservation will be automatically canceled 30 days before your arrival.

Our clients can cancel their reservations when they see fit; you only need to send us your written request by e-mail and consider the following rules:

If the request for cancellation is made within 15 days of the completion of your program there will be no refund of any money.

If the request for cancellation is made within 16-25 days of the completion of your program, the refund will be 25% of the pre – payment.

If the request for cancellation is made within 26-30 days of the completion of your program, the refund will be 50% of the pre – payment.

If the request for cancellation is made within 31 days after the completion of your program, the refund will be 60% of the pre – payment.

NOTE: For the special case of Camino Inka, Salkantay Trek and Tours to Machupiccu there will be no refund of any money.

CHASKA TRAVEL PERU, operates as a travel agency and tourism company that contracts on behalf of our clients, organizing on its behalf hotels, restaurants, transportation, flights, travel and other tourist services required, so it does not assume responsibility in case of accidents, injuries to people, loss of valuables, delays of airlines, buses, train.

 

Chaska Travel Peru, protects the information of all its clients and will not share it with third parties unless authorized by our clients for purposes related to the planning of their reservation or execution of their tourist programs. The personal data of our clients, the characteristics of their programs and the information relative to the payment or means of payment are reserved for Chaska Travel Peru.

It is part of our policies in Chaska Travel Peru, to establish communication links with our clients to coordinate each of the details of your trip or during the execution of your tourist program. Personal, physical and electronic channels can be used to establish communication, but at the same time we will be very respectful of the regulations and limits that this implies. If in any case our communication becomes offensive or annoying, please contact us, we will be able to solve any situation immediately.

Chaska Travel Peru, has been responsible for designing these brochures in PDF format so they can be shared electronically with our customers and they can also do it with other people, these brochures have an informative purpose for our clients and should not be reproduced or copied for other purposes.

For the development of this website, staff of Chaska Travel Peru has produced the text and images for which they are the property of the company with the exception of some images provided by institutions and independent photographers who have all the credits.

Limitation of Liability of Chaska Travel Peru with Independent Providers

Chaska Travel Peru acts as a tour operator in Peru, and is responsible for contracting services from various providers: accommodation, restaurants and other services from independent suppliers which are not under our supervision or control.  Chaska Travel Peru is not responsible for the acts or omissions in which these companies may incur. We can help our clients to proceed with the corresponding claims, but to avoid these situations Chaska Travel Peru will first select the suppliers that offer the most security and confidence.

Responsibility of Chaska Travel Peru with air tickets

Domestic and international flights are subject to oversold cancellations or rescheduling if that happens Chaska Travel Peru will do everything in its power to assist customers to board their respective flights or make alternative arrangements. And will not be responsible for denials of boarding, additional payment, for difference in rates or additional transfers that the airline provides for cancellations or delays in flights.

Because some activities involve inherent risk of personal injury, for the execution of some programs it may be necessary to sign a discharge of responsibility by the clients. Chaska Travel Peru cannot guarantee 100% of its security, so passengers must be aware and careful during their trip or program. Chaska travel Peru will not assume responsibility for your safety or personal injury. Before the execution of any activity our guides will guide you on the activities to be carried out and on the present risks.

Chaska Travel assumes no responsibility for events beyond our reach such as government measures, civil disturbances, terrorist acts, robberies, epidemics, states of emergency, delays due to adverse weather conditions, damage to means of access that impede transportation, closures temporary and unforeseen archaeological sites or any act or incident beyond our control or that of our suppliers

It is entirely the responsibility of the client for visa and CUSTOMS procedures. For passengers traveling to the jungle it is advisable to apply the vaccine against yellow fever 10 days in advance and request the international vaccination certificate.
